The LuxNet AK2A-705L 2.5Gbps Avalanche Photodiode (APD) chip features a large 50um front side illuminated detecting area. The APD has excellent reliability, low dark current at operating voltage and high sensitivity up to -34dBm with TIA. This device is designed to be used in GPON application.
